Injection molding is an efficient production method, but various quality defects may be encountered in actual production. Here are the five most common problems and their solutions:
1. Sink Marks
Reason: Uneven wall thickness or insufficient holding pressure
Solution: Optimize product wall thickness design, increase holding time or pressure
2. Flash flash
Reason: Insufficient locking force or mold wear
Solution: Check the mating surface of the mold, increase the locking force or repair the mold
3. Bubbles
Reason: Insufficient material drying or too fast injection speed
Solution: Fully dry the raw materials, adjust the injection speed and pressure curve
4. Warpage
Reason: Uneven cooling or inconsistent molecular orientation
Solution: Optimize the design of the cooling water channel and adjust the pressure holding parameters
5. Short Shot
Reason: Insufficient injection pressure/speed or poor fluidity
Solution: Increase injection pressure, increase material temperature, or choose materials with better fluidity
